Israel Highlights
Day 1: Arrival in Israel
Arrival at Tel Aviv airport and meeting with the local guide. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Accommodation: Jerusalem
Day 2: JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM
Enter the old City of Jerusalem to visit the western Wall and the temple Mount. We then proceed to Mount Zion to visit the cenacle (Room of last Supper) , King Davids Tomb and the Dormittion Abbey. Then we continue to visit "Israels Capitol Hill" where Israeli Parlament (Knesset) , Supreme Court and Goverment offices are located. We Proceed to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd's Fields. We Finish our day visiting Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Memorial Museum. We return to Our Jerusalem Hotel for dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: JERUSALEM OLD CITY
After a delicious Israeli Breakfast, We begin our morning with a drive to Mount Of Olives observatory point with a breathtaking view of Jerusalem holy sites. We descend to visit the Church of All Nations and the garden of Gethsemane. We Walk along the stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) , visiting the Pool of Bethesda, the church of Flagellation arriving to the Church of The Holy Sepulcher. We Proceed to the Cardo -the main street of Roman Period Jerusalem, and visit the Jewish Quarter of the old City.
We return to Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: JERUSALEM/ QUMRAN/ MASSADA/ DEAD SEA
Today we head to the Judean Desert, and we are descending from Jerusalem to the lowest point on earth -the dead sea, at -420 mts below sea level. We visit Qumran the site where the dead sea scrolls where found . We then continue to Mssada Fortress , and get to know the heroic story of the Jewish rebels against the mighty Roman Empire. We return to the dead sea for some relaxing moments in its salt Rich water.
We return to our Jerusalem Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: JERUSALEM/JERICHO/TIBERIAS
After a delicious Israeli Breakfast, We begin our morning with a drive to Jericho via Wadi Qelt, for a spectacular view of the Monastery of St. Georg. We stop at the mount of Temptaions and visit Tel Jericho, the archeological remains of the oldest city in the world. Heading north through the Jordan Valley, we visit the spectacular remains of the Roman city of Bet Shean. We than visit the Baptism site of Yardenit and finish our day with a delicious meal at our Tiberias Hotel.
Day 6: TIBERIAS/SEA OF GALILEE/GOLAN HIGHTS
On this Day, we shall visit the area where Jesus lived and preached. We begin with a vist to Tabgha, the site of the Miracles of the Loaves and fishes. Then to Capernaum, where Jesus began his ministry and where we can observe the synagogue and the house of Peter. We then drive to the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the seremon on the Mount. We continue to the Golan Hights and Banias ( Caesarea Phillipi). We later head back to Tiberias for dinner and Overnight
Day 7: TIBERIAS/NAZARETH/CAESAREA /TEL AVIV
We begin our day with a Drive to Cana, Where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. We Proceed to Nazareth and visit the basilica of the Annuncitaion and the well of Virgin Mary. On to Caesarea, the Capital city of Herods the great, to visit some amazing ruins of the roman theater and the crusader period city. We drive to Tel Aviv for dinner and Overnight.
Day 8: TEL AVIV AIRPORT /DEPARTURE
Transfer from Hotel to Tel Aviv Airport. End of Tour
